Then you're all set. I also noticed that pistol has an 'old style' VQ Target Trigger. Some folks didn't like those because the finger pad area is wider than the trigger guard so VQ changed the design to the style they have out now. R, Bullseye I actually got that trigger in a Mk II 22/45 and I real...

R,
Bullseye
I have them on my Mark III and one of my 1911s as well. I like them for pin shoots as I pick them up quickly...

My latest MK II

Picked this stainless slab-side up on a trade. It was wearing those huge VQ target grips but I replaced them with Hogue's. Also added a fiber-optic front sight. May shoot this one tonight. BTW, anyone wanting the VQ grips, shoot me a PM as I'll sell them cheap... http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/j...

Crimson Trace for Mk III

Just picked up a new Mk III Hunter with factory Crimson Trace laser grips. As I'm not into lasers, I'd like to swap these for a set of cocobolo's and $150 cash to boot. Will sell outright for $180 shipped...

I've always been a round counter myself so it's not a problem. I've also read the same thing and the dummy round is a reasonable solution...

Based on my results with my new Mk III - it sure isn't a Ruger.

Very happy so far with my Sig P220 in .22 though...

I've done the research here and saw the mag mods as well as the mag catch mod as well as the VQ extractor mod. Frustrating that Ruger can't make it right from the factory and we have to do the home gunsmithing rather than shooting. I wish I'd have seen the Sig P220 in .22 before I'd seen this one as...

Well I stripped her down completely and gave every nook & cranny a thorough cleaning. Went back to the range and still did not get the results I'd hoped for. In a 100 rounds of CCI Mini-Mags, I had 4 jams. Didn't have my camera but I'll describe them as best I can as they were all the same. The empt...

Brought the new toy to the range after work yesterday to give it a smoke test. Sig recommends using CCI Mini-Mags so this is the ammo I started out with. Put 100 rounds of CCI thru it and it was flawless and quite accurate. I then switched to Winchester 333 and put another 100 rounds downrange - wit...

It comes in today and I'm looking forward to giving it a run. From what I've read on the Sig forum, folks that have them are very happy with them...

Sig P220 SAO .22LR

Just ordered what I think will be a very spiffy gun from Bud's. It's a Sig P220R, SAO with the Sig .22LR kit installed. At $399 delivered, this seems like an exceptional value for a quality .22 pistol and Sig includes a coupon to buy the .45 conversion for $399 as well. Basically, for $800 you get a...

As you probably guessed, I just gave it a field strip cleanup before the range trip. While I didn't see any excess gunk visible in the trigger group sure doesn't mean it wasn't there. I've seen the threads about making a mag disconnect removal "kit" using washers and such. Now a potential stupid que...

New Mark III

Couldn't resist on Sunday so I picked up a new Mark III stainless, bull barrel, adjustable sight model. Took it to the range yesterday (I had broke it down and cleaned first of course) and I have 2 issues. The trigger doesn't seem to reset all the time, kind of like there's a bind somewhere. After a...

It's possible it has a light spring in it and replacing it with a stock spring will do the trick. I'd try this before replacing the hammer & sear as I always do this as a unit myself...
