Spoke with an FFL guy today. The buyer needs to specify which FFL you need to send the weapon to and the FFL holder finalizes the deal.

Much as it pains me he also does consignment, I'm probably going that route next week.

Been there, done that, got the scars to prove it. My Summers consisted of hard work bringing in the garden, tending the livestock and occasionally getting hurt doing such things. Times are as different for our kids as they were for our parents, their parents and so on. Tom Sawyer was pretty privileg...

I'm curious on this as well. Finances are about to force me to lean down the herd some, but don't want to basically give them away.

It's amazing how easy it is once you see it done once or twice. The big problem comes with flopping the arm for the hammer spring around. It's like the hokey pokey.

I see a standard pistol modified to have a ported bull barrel. I say "standard" as the receiver does not appear to have "Mark I" stamped on it. It has a Micro adjustable rear sight, pre BowMar. Which would have been added-on in place of the fixed rear sight that comes with the standard. Someone has...

What a deal! My Mark III Hunter was $360 used two years ago! Plus your wife snuck around you and got it for you!

I hate you.

Not really, but hopefully you get my point.

My attitude about trades is if both parties are happy then it's a good trade.

Plus if you paid $300 ea. a year ago, used them over the year and will be getting $200 ea. trade to a company then it's a good deal. After all there has to be profit for the company.

I'd say it's worthwhile.

I'm not terrorized, I'm still pissed. Can you actually tell me that there isn't another building in NY? Can you tell me that it wasn't chosen because of where it is? You really should read a little about the grand benefactor of this little project, such as his comments back in 2001 about how we part...

I haven't heard about the Westboro church setting up a new facility next to the graves they protest.

Nobody cares about a new mosque. The fact it's within sight of the Trade Centers that were attacked in the name of Islam is the problem.

They're fine firearms, my only suggestion is for you to go fire one and make sure it fits you. I shoot a Sig Sauer P220 in .45 and can put two on center mass from a draw 99% of the time. I can't hit the broad side of a barn with a 1911. It's just how it fits my hand, nothing wrong with the firearm. ...

I'm guessing first time shooting? I only know of one time where that happened "Legitimately". A former boss of mine was getting ready for black powder season with a breechloader. Slug, couple of pellets, "Hey Glenn could you come here for a minute?", return, couple of pellets, primer, KABOOM!!!! Got...

A buddy of mine has a 20+yo Mark II that has God only knows how many rounds through it. He had the same failure, the locking lug wore out. He just ordered the parts and keeps right on shooting.

Makes me feel good knowing that my three year old Mark III will be around for a long time!

My Mark III has never failed to drop the hammer. Even on misfires the rim is nearly pinched through. I'll sometimes turn the bullet some and send it on it's way!

Most I've gone through in a day is 1000 rounds just seeing how reliable it is.
