Need help solving a particular Ruger jam

What causes the rim to drop and the bolt jams on the flank of the cartridge with the lead stuck at the top of the chamber mouth? This is only occasional. Other CCI feeds are fine. The pistol only feeds CCI SV. All others dive the nose into the tip of the ramp. Front mag lips already squeeze on the r...

If you are really practiced, it does not matter. Look at the Bullseye 2700 record.

AR scope mounting

I have a flat top RRA NM A4. I need occasional high mounts to do load work with a regular scope. Will the RRA spacer work with Burris Zee rings? How high Zee rings are needed?

New shotgun

I just got an 1100 Remington 12ga 2 3/4". It is about 1970 made, but in newish appearing condition. I put a new o-ring in it and squirted g96 inside and gave it a good wipe down inside for now. It is in great shape. Has a 30" full barrel, 25" imp cyl and a new unfired Remchoke barrel with full, modi...

I read Jack D's shooting adventures with pleasure. I am about 20 miles from his place. Jack has done fantastic metal work for me in the past. Look over his website. The metal work and projects you see are amazing. Love that tractor. Anyway, Jack, if you want to try some other 38 lead bullets, I have...

Hold your arm and head higher. This will lower the gun to the hand with a bit more wrist bend down. The wrist should be firmer too.

Congratulations! The first bullseye 100, the golf hole in one or occasional birdie or par in my case. Things to remember. I have had 100's T&R. But only recently have I produced my first and only 200 TF. It was with my Advantage Arms conversion indoors at 50 feet. Still looking for my first 100 SF a...

Cousin Jack
Would that have been Ray W as one of the rifle shooters?

My club needs a boost in competition activities. I have been planning some informal shoots like you describe. Your story will help I am sure. Thanks.
