The 1911 is a great platform, do yourself the favor and don't go cheap. I"d prefer to buy better used than new cheap.

Ouch, that had to smart a bit. Once saw a buddy get scoped by a 45-70, wasn't holding it tight enough.

They do carry very well.

Overall Tika makes a very solid product, likely better than most. Two negatives is the mag doesn't have metal lips, and the trigger housing is a plastic type of material. Super trigger, slick as Owl snit action and likely more accurate than you can be.

Ah, just as I figured too, and I would really hate to shake apart a scope that has served me so well.
