Thank you for your kind words guys! Practical is good, especially when one has to hunt pigs and other such critters that can put the hurt on ya. We do have a few wild ones in north Alabama but at my property at least we are not overrun, yet. I've only seen one thus far and it was killed by the neigh...

New to me Remington 870

Just finished putting this Remington 870 together as a wild pig hunting companion for my 10mm Match. I sanded & painted the beat up plastic stock, installed a 7 round tube and a flashlight on it and cut the barrel to fit. Lastly I blued the action and barrel for a practically new look. I like the wa...

T, my 9mm has proven to be a very durable pistol, it feeds and shoots everything you feed through it. Plus, nothing fits the hand better and that's coming from a devoted 1911 guy.

On the DW, you're right, I'll have to take my time for the right deal to appear.

George to George, I appreciate the inpu! After close inspection and a lot of reading I decided to forego the DW. At $700 or so I'd be glad to add it to my collection but at today's retail prices I don't think so! I always wanted a 10mm so I opted for the Tanfoglio Elite Match. Have had a 9mm Tanfogl...

Dan Wesson in 45 ACP

Good morning to all and a very happy new year! I've recently become interested in the Dan Wessons in 45ACP. I have two 357mag revolvers of theirs, one of which was the very first pistol I ever purchase back in 1982, so nostalgia plays a big role in this quest. Anyway, due to my utter satisfaction to...

In all seriousness you got me to thinking so here's my choice.

1911 Colt National match or SA long slide
Dan & Wesson in 357 mag (both 2.5" and 6" barels)
LMT AR15 in 5.56
Swiss K31 in 7.5x55
Rem 1100 12 guage

Bullseye, the red, natural color of the wood is very much enhanced by the rub-on poly I sealed the cherry with. I love rub-on poly, it'll dry quickly, seals the wood well, plus it's inexpensive and easy to use.

It's Brazilian cherry, flooring leftover. I am one to never let anything go to waste if I can help it.

My old Pacific press is not the same, only two mounting holes, so I guess you mean all the Lee presses have the same mounting hole pattern?

That's my 911, she loves to stretch her legs

Forumites, the larger of my homemade AR stands has taken on added functionality and I am sharing this with you just in case someone else would like to fab their own multifunctional reloading AR stand. I needed a second set of reloading equipment at my property, where I do my shooting, and thought wh...
