Looks impressive, but I suspect the weight has more to do with recoil on a 22 cal. How does that one fasten on? Does it use the front sight screw or a secondary screw. I hope it does not mar the pretty blue finish. Hi Blue. You just take the old sight off and it fits right over the same screw hole ...

Schweeeet looking little pistol you have there Mr Blue. It should do the job you want for the rest of you days. They are a fine pistol. :) The wife has a Ultra CDP II that she has shot everything under the sun in and it has never failed her. I gave up on keeping track of the round count at about 5,0...

I would have no worry about using a vac to pick up a mess. I use a small Vac around my bench all the time. 8)

 The Bling Factor is at work for sure. The little bit of extra weight on the end of the barrel does help a little. I sure would like to do a test like Mr Stork has done. That's some good info. Thanks.. :)

Compensator/Muzzle brake???

Does a Comp/MB really help the .22 out that much? I just put one on my Ruger MK-III and I haven't shot it enough to make up my mind about it. I admit the WOW! Factor is there but does it really help you out ??? What say you folks?? Here's mine now with the MB. http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h268/...

The SP 101 is a fine revolver. I carried one for about a year. Mine went by the wayside in a hot deal at a gun show to get Mom one she had wanted for a long time. The .38+P was my cartridge of choice in it as it does a fine job. Good luck with yours.. :)

I get mine out about 4 times a year but I don't shoot anything more than a few .38+P's through it and a few boxes of puff loads. I do have the sales ticket and the little four way screw driver for it but that's all. Box and papers are long gone. Still as accurate as the day I got it and it's box sto...

Around this area the blued 6" Python with all the trimmings is going for around $1,200 to $1,500. True collectors that have never been fired except at factory and have no turn line will bring about $1,800 and up. I have never seen one with Colt Guard go for more than $2,500.. I researched this prett...

A good many of us have had that problem. I went to the eye Doc and had him set my range glasses like this. Right eye sees the front site real clear, the target is blurry, and so is the rear site. The left eye is set for distance. These glasses are just used for shooting at the range and they are saf...

I vote for the Kimbers too. We have two and they both have run flawlessly for many years now. If you are wanting a carry pistol in .45ACP there is none better than a Ultra CDP II.. The only thing I ever did to this one is replace the recoil spring a couple of times. Just normal maintenance. http://i...

I carried one for about 1yr. They weigh more than the S&W J-frames that's for sure (27oz mty). Their weight does help to tame the .357 down a little but the .38+P is the way to go. I still have the C/T Laser I had on it for practice but the gun was traded in a deal to get the boss one she wanted. Th...
