It was a LOT of dirt and crud between the frame and the hold open lever and the return spring in the front was just packed with crud not allowing the spring to work freely.

A friend's MKIII bull barrel will lock the bolt open if you pull the bolt back on an empty magazine but only locks open 1 out of 5 times when shooting. I shoot in a bowling pin league with 2 people that use them. In bright sunlight you can't see it on the target.arizona-hermit wrote:Great idea!
