I have a blued 5.5 bull barrel model that I love. I am probably going to buy another 5.5 target model in ss, I thought about trying a different model, but know I really like, and shoot well, with the 5.5 bull. I originally wanted ss, but got the blued, because it was cheaper. I have handled some lon...

I have bought two guns from Buds, and have had no problems at all. Were I live, Buds beats most local prices by a fair amount, even with the $20 transfer fee added to the total cost.

I have put a couple hundred rounds through it with no problems. Looks like it will work fine, I might take the bolt out after a little more shooting just to make sure the new one is hasn't broke.

I here a lot of people talk about what they are doing to prepare, but as stated before, no one knows what is actually going to happen. So how is one to know what to do to prepare. I agree with the y2k reference, my Grandmother just finished up using the last of some of her y2k supplies, I have to gi...

Break Free CLP

I have been using CLP for three or four years now, and it always had a smell. I got some for christmas, and it has almost no odor. It is clearly CLP, looks the same as the old stuff, just doesn't have the familiar smell. I was wondering if anyone here knows if maybe they changed the formula recently...

I thought i would report that I got my replacement bolt a few days ago. I sent them my bolt stripped, and got back a complete one with all the parts, so, I can't complain. They were more than fair giving me the complete bolt, as they were replacing my whole gun the first time. I am still thinking ab...

Yea, you might be right. I know there is a least a couple guys who have a rest, and would probably be glad to help me out. Even though I know it wouldn't bother them, I always feel a little uncomfortable asking people for things like that.

As Ruger22 stated, I experienced the same vagueness with Ruger a while back when I sent in a MKIII. Everything turned out fine for me, so try not to get to far ahead of yourself, I know I was jumping to conclusions, when in reality everything was fine. Like you said, you will have to wait until you ...

Thanks guys, I haven't ever ransom rested my Ruger, but if it shot 1.5 inches at 50 yards, I would leave it stock. I didn't know that that type of accuracy was common with a stock Ruger. I agree that if a gun can shoot 1.5 inch groups, you need to be pretty darn good to ever notice a barrel that the...

Aftermarket Ruger MK barrel

I have wondered for a while about the difference in performance with say, a Clark or Volquartsen barrel, compared to the factory Ruger barrel. I haven't ever found any side by side comparisons, and just wondered if anyone here has any first hand experience or knowledge with an aftermarket barrel. I ...

I also belong to a range with less than ideal ventilation. I had my blood lead level checked about six months ago and it was well over the amount they consider to be ok. I didn't shoot much over the summer, and Ruger had my gun for about 2 months, so I had a decent break from shooting. Normally duri...

That is a nice 25 yard group . Guns are much more fun when they work properly. I love my Ruger .22, but a while back when I was having some problems with this gun, it was frustrating. When a gun shoots accurately and reliably, it's a lot more fun.
