Call Savage about the trigger, though I seem to recall hearing about the trigger not resetting if it was set too low. Buy yourself a couple different weights and brands of ammo as you may find your barrel has its own liking. What were you shooting?

Hak, I just got home this morning and seen the pic of your rifle and it is sweet. I bet its ablast to shoot. Charlesb, your right on about them 760 Gamemasters. I dont really like the basket weeve style but the little bit older ones like I got are built alittle better. Mines 57 years old, still groups 1/4" at a 100yds. and I shot 2 out of 5 deer over 250 yds. this last season. The worst diference between the ones like mine and the basketweeve style is the stocks didn't come w/ pads, they came w/ metal plates so if you get one in a 30/06 or a 300 beware cuase they will thump the ---- out of you.
