Hi! From the North Georgia Mountains. It’s a beautiful area, just moved here two years ago.

After a long hiatus (over 20 years) from shooting, I attended our local sheriff’s office “Citizens Academy”, an eight week introduction to the sheriff’s office, its functions and staff. We spent one night at the range, shooting the department’s .40 cal Glocks. I did well, and had so much fun I started looking for a shooter.

Not much available, but I finally found a Mk III Hunter, 6 7/8” barrel. I’m back!.

This is a great site, lots of good info – thanks, Bullseye and everyone else I’ve been practicing field stripping, and I can’t yet do it blindfolded, but I can do it in less than two minutes, thanks to the info posted here.

I have several questions, but I’ll post them separately so the threads stay focused.

Welcome to Guntalk-Online! I'm sure that you'll find this group very helpful and knowledgeable. Everyone is eager to assist one another, especially in the area of acquiring new firearms. I like it because it helps promote the sport of shooting.
