I had a request before Christmas to make a Custom Holster for a 6" Python. I told the person it would be after the first of the first of the year. I have been working on it for the last couple of weeks. I has a lot of lace work which required most of my time. Then one section I wanted to lace, I had a small problem, none of my books covered the width I needed. So I spent 1 day coming up with my own pattern lacing technique.

Here is the section I had to do a true Custom lace work on.

The belt loop is secured with 2 Pull the Dot Snaps.

That is really nice work!

It looks like my 6" Python would fit right in there.

Nice job,

Nice looking holster. I like that bottom waved seam, looks like that took quite a bit of time to lace.

That bottom weave seam took 12' of lace and 4hr to do. The rest of the lace is 15' for the double cordovan (loop) around the top and belt loop. Then there the small section (3') at the bottom before I started the weave. I have a total lace time around 8hr. Took around 4 hrs to get all of the slots punched and the filler glued together. The hard part was getting every thing to align up going through 4-5 layers of 8-9oz leather, 9/16" expanding to 3/4". The holster is fully lined with Pig Skin suede smooth side out.

Yes my 6" Custom Python fits nicely in the holster, but it's not my holster. Sold this one, better than the very first holster I make 30+ years ago for mine.

That is truly a creation of beauty.

Your talent is apparent and impressive.

Wish I could find a leather craftsman willing to accept the challenge of creating a rig for my khukri.

I had no idea what a khukri is, till I googled it. A curved blade knife is not to difficult to do. If your interested in me make on shieth for I can. I normally require the product or a replica of what you want it to fit. Then I need to know what style you want. Type of carry if carry. Laced or stitched.
