Duracoating your pistol or rifle

Post by bam bam » Tue Jun 01, 2010 10:23 pm

I found this awesome company that specializes in duracoating weapons. I am going to have them do my Kel-Tec .380 slide because it is getting rust on the thin bluing that came with the pistol. I have seen the work that GOE Gunworks does and hope that this duracoat helps my rust problem. They have a cool web site and looks like I will be doing some of my rifles also with them. Here is their info - http://www.goegunworks.com/index2.html

I kinda prefer the moly koting products a bit better as they seem to be tougher and applied thinner. YMMV

Duracoat will absolutely help your rust issue. I am actually comtemplating having a keltac slide done also, possible this weekend.

I'm more partial to hard chrome gun finish myself.

Custom Creations (http://www.customizedcreationz.com/home.html) is what most popular on the Sig forums. They have a CeraKote is what Sig owners use when they have there Alloy frame and slides refinish. I have seen there work first and it it's pure perfection.
