California DOJ "safe" list shrinking?

I looked at the California DOJ site yesterday, and there is a huge list of recently removed firearms, as of July 7.

Looked like maybe all of Ruger's pistols and Charter's whole catalog, with lots of Walthers, Kimbers, Para, Browning, Taurus, you name it. Are all these makers simply slow to re-certify, or are they simply pulling out of the California market?

Very sad, I have to put a CA disclaimer on my firearms ads because I do not have an FFL who will ship there on my behalf. It bothers me not to be able to support CA gun owners. It is clear that the antigun crowd has decided to use "safety" as another avenue toward ban. Regards

Unfortunately our elected representatives in Sacramento do anything other than represent those who voted for them. The "approved" list seems to be just another way to legislate handguns out of existence in Kalifornia. How long will it be before they try the same tactic with long arms? With my single vote I try, but there seems to be little that I can do.

I know it is tough to swim against the current of the mighty river of government but hang in there! You have a good organization on your side in the CRPA. I feel for you, that's one of the reasons why I left the occupied territories.
