Don't you just hate when that happens, there you are having a nice cold beverage and BANG  Should make for an interesting conversation with the Gendarmes. I've been carrying a 380 in my right front pocket for twenty plus years and for some reason it has never blasted my tackle 8)

Here we go again, I'm going to "proverbially" shoot myself int he foot, but, I carry my Kahr PM-9
in a Galco pocket holster in my front pocket. I usually don't chamber a round, figuring,
"I will sacrifice a half second for my own personal 'baggage' safety. Lately, though,
I have gained confidence and actually chamber a round. One of the main reasons
I feel comfortable doing this is that the gun in the holster is "canted" rearward" away from my leg.
If it went off accidentally, I would have a hole in my pants, and not in my "parts" !!!

A wise man once told me "make sure your gun is De-cocked before shoving it in your waistband, lest you may de-cock yourself"

Words to live by i would think.

Sort of a do-it-yourself vasectomy........Bad to use a live round so that shoot off your shooter instead of "shooting blanks".
