Browning Buck Mark slide won't open

Yes, I had issues with ejection when using CCI Standard Velocity ammo. All was well with CCI MiniMags.

I too would have a box of parts if I completely took the gun apart.

I did call Browing over a week ago. I got the recorder saying leave name and number and they would return my call. Good thing I did not hold my breath, as they haven't returned my call.

I'd keep calling them. I don't recall having any problems getting the parts order phones to answer, but you are calling to spend money so those lines may be a touch more attentive. My Buck Mark has the "new" firing pin assembly block, which is plastic and pops out. It was much easier and not significantly more expensive to order the whole assembly which included the guide rod and spring.

The Buck Mark has a couple of parts like the slide open latch spring that are held in place by the grips that are fairly easy to lose if you remove the grips. I'm not sure if they would cause your problem, but it might be worth taking a peak.
