Song-Dawg: you pert-near shot a box-o-bullets and you didn't hit the "dime" once!!

My '80-ish RST-6 had only a couple 100 rounds thru it, when
it got stashed away in the closet... when I was able to get
re-interested a few years ago... I decided to keep it, and got
the latter-day MK2... I still have the "outter" brown-box and the
yellow+black box that the RST came home in, with the tags, too.

yep, the MKs are a patient-pistol... they will wait nearly forever
for us to learn to shoot them straight-n-steady...
enjoy your old-friend.

Toyfj40,
Glad to hear I'm not the only one who engaged in this shamefully behavior of safequeening a new MK. :)

Yeah, that "dern" dime seemed bullet proof.........but I'll be back!

Like many I'm somewhat intimidated by the stripping procedure but have total faith in Bullseye's outstanding visual "how to's"
It wasn't that long ago that the 1022 stripping would cause "stress in the lower tract" but now I do it with the aid of a blindfold and no net!

Looking forward to lots of good times with this one!
