I suggest that you NOT get this one...
I haven't found any pistol in any position that is steady
much less "comfortable"...


--OR-- you could consider this vise that I got from my uncles(grandfathers)
ranch-shop/shed...
it belonged to my great-grandfather... early 1900s
it probably was used to hold a gun a few times, in its day...

I don't know how much it weighs, nobody will help me carry it to the scales.
to me, it is "PriceLess" (I have several more of his old tools) all with FeO2.

The "Tang" (??) goes to the floor, it is about 40" tall.

I have been giving that one some thought, sawit in Midway USA for around 30 bucks plus shipping. Have made some mods to mine to give it some elevation adjustment with a small handwheel. Have not had a chance to get to the range to try it out yet. Maybe soon.

that little one by MTM does look pretty much like junk Tex, might be ok for a cap gun.

now that one looks pretty solid, but may have a prolem getting it to th ange and still having enough strength to shoot
Have some of my grandfathers tools also, acouple of hand saws that really cut great, the original cordless tool, and an adze for hewing timbers, must be from the 1880's maybe.
