Just got myself a new years present a 22 conversion for my glock 22. I went with the tactical solutions tsg22 unit. It seems very well made and was quite accurate with cci blazers but so far fail to fire, feed, eject, and stovepipes. Fed bulk HP is a very accurate single shot. I'm not going give a poor rating to this conversion until I get it broken in and try the recommended ammo (mini mags, automatch, and blazers) . I do like the 15 round mags and that it uses the same frame as my duty gun and glock sights too. We will see how well it works once its broken in.

Cold weather problems? Look to the lube. We were having a few feed/eject last week.
That kit has pretty good reviews.

I think it needs hotter ammo for break in. And a good cleaning.

Well range trip #2 for the TSG22 and reliability was much better. 200 rounds of minimags HP's and only a couple of feed and fail to fire per mag, instead of every other round. Accuracy is awesome from a glock, 80 rounds in a 2" group at 7 yards.... I am liking this unit so far.

7 yards 30rounds top target 80 rounds bottom target

The Kimber 1911 to .22 conversion is supposed to like HV ammo better than SV. Maybe the same here. You need to expand your horizons to 15 yards.

You didn't try any of that Eley Sport, did you. I recall that in the frigid 38 F two weeks ago they didn't want to feed in the Ruger.

The Kimber .22 adapter seems to work better if I use more oil than I normally would on the .45 slide. You might want to look at having more gun oil on the adaptor.

Well at 17 yards if I miss the spinner target its me not the unit.... BUT I'm having a heck of a time with reliability, it isn't picking up the striker upon reseting the trigger and am getting light strikes all FTF about every 3-5 shots , it won't catcth the striker at all on the gen 4 frame. It got me thinking thigs are a little out of spec with it.
I shot Tac Sol an email yesterday and got a personal reponse back in less than 30 min! long story short (too late

) the unit is going home to Boisie, ID for some TLC. Great Customer Service by Tac Sol so far. they seem eager to get it up and running and make a customer happy, they get

from me.

I've have a advantage arms for my Glock 22 . Works great , also cheaper to shoot . I use Rem. Golden bullets and they run real good.
Good Luck

doubletap1911,Welcome to GTO
bgreenea3, What are you using for lube? On some of those (other mfg) they require a lot of oil, which your Glock does not normally need. Use a good syn oil and see if it helps.
