Or they come loose out of the box. My MKIII 22/45 came a bit sloppy but tightens up on assembly. This sounded like a different problem.

Ruger .22 problems

HI Greener, Its loose receiver frame fit; came loose after 14,000 rounds. Good thing I bought it thru the Davidson's wholesaler program. It means lifetime guarantee, not that Ruger direct wouldnt deal with it. But I have both to back me up. Five weeks and counting.
I was just going to lend it to a friend's son for our Steel shoots (with me present). So I went out and bought enough mags for my S & W 41 if he comes before I get it back.

Much obliged,

Max

bgreene's shim suggestion works, but if Ruger fixes it, so much the better.

They should just tighten down the receiver by re-pressing the underside of the tube at the front lug recess for your 22-45.
