Ruger now putting stainless ERH on SS standard Bearcats

Post by ruger22 » Wed Aug 28, 2013 7:36 pm

Found on one of the Ruger Forums that Ruger is now shipping stainless New Bearcats with stainless ejector rod housings. I guess putting stainless ones on the new Shopkeeper model taught them something?

It's available as a part from Newport, KPR02204, for $31.99.

No word on if the blued New Bearcats now have blued steel ERHs. Seems that would be the right way to go.

My EWK housings are great, I hope the Ruger part will fit as well. The aluminum ones could have fit a little better.
* Two Bearcat stainless, w/ EWK ejector housings & Wolff springs
* SP-101 .22LR, w/ Wolff springs
* SP-101 .357 snub w/ Wolff springs
* 10/22 Deluxe Sporter, unmodded!
* Two NAA Guardian 32
* Two Zastava M70
