just can't have too many mags...
ya know... I probably have to credit the Ruger-Mag-Parts "deal"
as getting me "into" these pistols... I ordered parts for a few
extra-Mag-parts and in order to make full use of placing an order
had to include a few extra little screw/ pin/ spring "replacement items".
( not that they would break... but I would likely LOSE them in a disassembly )
then... I got a 2nd and 3rd Ruger... and had to have mags for them, too.
and got a few more "parts" for my little divided-plastic-box...
after a few such transactions... I felt fully-equipped to try a few 'mods'.
It encouraged me to explore my Marlin-39a & 60... Glock... and others
in general... along the way, I better understand the cleaning/lube and
assembly-mechanisms of my various firearms... all because I'm "cheap"
(for those that missed it, Ruger in Arizona sells pistol parts and the
pricing for a Ruger-Mkx Mag parts used to be about $9 plus $3.50
s/h for anysize total order... they closed the price-gap over a year ago )

That's good to hear, Bullseye!
To get back to the original post, I have managed to gather 4-5 Ruger mags over the years back at the good old prices. Recently I picked up several Mec-gar mags as well. I hope they perform similarly to the Rugers.
I'll be trying my new Ultimate Clip Loader and I've also rounded up a few of the now extinct "Thumbsavers" from Butler Creek.
If I sound like a kid in a candy store it's because.................... I AM!!!!
Here's the MKII in waiting!

GOT IT!
This Weigand was straight forward thanks to Bullseye!
I'm very impressed with the clean look and tight fit.
I used Loctite 242 (blue) on all the threads.
Here it is freshly "Eezox'd"

I plan on letting it sit for a day and then............ "blazum up!"

Thanks again Bullseye for your great tutorials! I just proved they're idiot proof!
