MARKII jamming

Have a problem I am hoping one of you guys and help me solve.
The gun is a Mark II frame with a ten inch fluted Tac Sol upper. Ruger stainless mark II bolt. With the factory upper it ran flawless. Since the TAC SOL upper was added it will get a fail to extract every so often. Maybe one round in five mags or so.
I figured a new extractor would help so I tried both the VQ Exact Edge Extractor and the Ron Power unit. Both have the same problem. When you close the bolt on a full magazine the round gets jammed, on an angle. It doesn’t even get in to the chamber.
I don’t know how an extractor could cause this but it didn’t do this with the factory extractor. I am about to call Ruger and have them send me one but I figured I’d ask here first.

Thoughts?

Thanks

Vic

Same ammo that ran before, CCI 40 grain plated round nose.

Thanks

Problem went away after I installed a factory extractor that I had left over from another pistol.

Don't understand it but I ran a couple of mags thru it without any issues.

May want to look at your magazines. There is a mod to make the bullet release earlier, preventing jams. The mod is a simple rounding of the ears.
