MKIII adjustable rear sights

What is a "micro-adjustable" rear sight ? Are the MKIII "adjustable" rear sights on the "Hunter", "Competition", and "Target" models all the same ? Also, are parts available to replace the "Hunter" Vee-notch rear sight blade with a traditional square notch blade ?

Micro is a trade name for a brand of adjustable sight. Its similar to, if not the same as the rear sight on the referenced guns.
Ruger has the square notch rear sight blade available. It will not work very well with "Hi Viz" front sight. I changed both the front sight and the blade in the rear sight on my hunter some time ago.

From *my* reading on the Ruger site, and the two guns I've had in my hands (one went back), the "Micro-adjustable" sight is only on the "Target Competition".
The "regular" Target models, the 22/45 and the Hunter, come with "regular" sights.
Which makes sense, the competition is a well, competition gun, you're gonna get better sights.
I wonder if you can get the better sights for the "Hunter" model.

I have had good experiences with the One-Ragged_Hole style sight when using a Hi-Viz front sight tube. These are easy to make with a dremel and an old sawzall blade. Just trace your existing sight for the lower portion of the sight cut out, then pop a hole into the metal and dip it in a cold blue solution. Worked pretty good for me.
