I recently saw a red dot scope with what appeared from a distance to be flip open covers. Anyone here know anything about these and their availability?
TIA!

The TruGlo 2X sights have flip open covers.
I'll post a photo tomorrow when I pick it up. (although you can find it on the net I'm sure)
I'm not sure I like that though, they seemed to wobble, or something, sort of distracting. You might be able to tighten a screw and fix that though, don't know.
Nice looking red dot scope too.

(bottom scope, they're not flipped up though)
Some Tasco seems to have them also.

If you just want the covers for your red dot, Butler Creek has a brand called Blizzard. You can see them here.

There's also a fit chart for the covers on the Optics Planet website.
Hope this helps.
