Will ruger work on this since I changed triggers to the Volquartson? Getting disgusted with it!

No, they will remove the VQ trigger and replace with a factory trigger.
Sounds like you don't have the pre travel and or over travel not adjusted right.
Look here for info:

Sonny,
Describe what is happening and I should be able to talk you through it.
Maybe this picture will help.

might shoot 5 times or 25 times. Then out of now where the trigger does not function. Maybe pull it 2-3 times and it resets. Ready to fire. Hard to explain as I am new to this. For some reason do not think it is the pretravel setting. We played with that and did not seem to help. thanks in advance

It sounds like the loc-tite isn't setting up on the screws, and then after firing a few rounds the screws are coming out of adjustment. Degrease your screws and their respective holes, and put some blue loc-tite onto the threads when you get it fully adjusted. Then let it sit a good 24 hrs. before shooting. This should work.
Another quick test to maybe try. Take both screws completely out of the trigger and see if you still have the resetting problem.

There could also be some dirt or preservative build up behind the disconnector lever causing it to bind. That would also look like a pretravel adjustment problem. The lever should move upwards very smoothly when pushed down. You can test it by removing the receiver and pushing down on the disconnector lever.
