B&OM-I'm all kinds of envious of your targets posted. Great job.
To add to the Rem. legacy, here is a poor picture of a target I shot with my Rem.581 left hand bolt that I rescued a couple years ago for $90.00
Lots of elbow grease, not so much for parts, and she is grateful enough to give this kind of accurace after more than 30 years abuse in a prior life.

Good shooting old gun MH, what kind of ammo. I have an old Westernfield/Mossberg 4o something bolt gun my uncle gave me in the late 40's that needs to get out and shoot again one of these days.

Age has nothing to do about a gun shooting good. I think the older ones are better than a lot of the newer models out. It's mainly the ammo and the operator behind the trigger. Nice Shooting.

Will the Wasp has changed his looks slightly. Been thinking recently about shiny blued barrels that Ruger is doing again, instead of the matte gray thing. That is one of the reasons I bought Manny, he had a checkered walnut stock and a shiny blued barrel and besides that I always wanted one. Sport, my DSP also had the matte barrel, then the light came on. We had a shiny blued carbine barrel in the tool box from the gun we restocked and added a GM barrel. So. we swapped and Sport looks better and it was a good shooting barrel so we maybe gained a little accuracy. That just left Wasp with the matte barrel, so he went to my local favorite gunsmith Monday and yesterday when I picked him up he was wearing an awesome shiny blued barrel. Now if it would just get warm enough to go out and shoot them guys.

These guys have some listed but they're going to cost you. http://www.gunaccessories.com/volquarts ... %20597.asp

Green Mountain can do it for you too for a reasonable price. https://www.hi-desertdog.com/index.php? ... t&catId=81
