winchester model 72, .22 S,L,LR help

Post by mbharpman » Tue Dec 18, 2012 12:10 pm

I have an old winchester model 72 I received from my father in-law, now deceased, I have it all cleaned up and oiled down. It has a deep brown patina on barrel and tube and stock is aged with FIL's initials carved on it. I want to pass it down to my son, his grand son and am looking for a manual or schematic for it. can anybody help? The Google sites I found were kind sketchy, with pop ups and re-direction.

Welcome to the forum!

I found a scematic of your winchester on Numrich's web site. . It's a great source for parts for your older guns.

Than you very much. Found one at Numerich, $1.50 but worth it.
