Finally Klinsky Stock and BR Rest Complete

Well I finally got my CZ 455 finished the way I wanted it. YoDave lighter spring in trigger ( no shim did not need it) Pillars in the stock. Klinsky Black Stained Target Stock, Sinclair Bench rest Adapter. Mueller 8-32x44 Scope. Only thing left to do to the stock is just a little more rise in the cheek riser. Waiting on Denny to send me the spacers and longer bolts. I replaced the bag on the Caldwell stock with some Delran Plastic Mounts. These mounts can be adjusted in and out. I have not tried them as of yet so I do not know how a solid mount instead of the sand bag will work, but I believe it will be great. Holds the Sinclair adapter really nice. I will have to make a higher holder for my sandbag. But that will be easily done when I pick up some wood. It's been a long time getting this rifle the way I want it, now it's time to just enjoy it.

That 455 looks like it would be fun to shoot the way you have it set up now.

bearandoldman yes it is the same 455. I did the boyds stock while I was saving up for the Klinsky stock. I have been working so much overtime lately that I have not had a chance to shoot anything as of yet. I am putting approx. 65 hours in a week wearing me down. With the cooler weather and maybe some time off in October I will be hitting the range again.

all that overtime makes for extra money for buying toys, but not much time to play with them. In my younger days I worked 55-1/2 on my full time job and another 15 to 20 on my part time job.

Never did get to shoot the gun with this stock on it. Something came up that needed some cash quick and sold the gun. The guy that bought it gave it to his grandson and says it will drive nails his grandson was thrilled with it. Good ending to the story. I ended up buying a Remington %$)x That I really like better than the CZ anyway so it all worked out. I am glad the young man is enjoying it.
Here is my Remington, 1969 model it is a tack driver and I like it a lot better than the CZ.
