I'm getting ready to fit a mach grade bushing to a stainless slide and barrel, I have two carbon steel bushings from a previous project. would there be a problem with using dissimilar metals in that area? Thanks.

No problem at all.
I have a steel bushing and a SS barrel in one of mine.
