Scope mounting Question.

Post by Bud33 » Fri Oct 13, 2006 11:11 am

OK. . . . I scored a BSA 30mm Red Dot Scope on e-bay and now I'm getting ready to mount it. I have the MK III 22/45 Hunter which came with a Weave style mount which I will install with BLUE Lock Tite.. The Question is where is the best place to set the scope.. Far Forward, to the rear or at a balance point? Or is it just a matter of personal preference?

For the price I got the scope I figure if I don't like it, I'm not out to much and can probably sell it for the same price.
