Brownells bake on finish

Kicking around the idea of trying this on my 22/45. Obvisouly the upper part only. Anyone ever tried these? If so how durable are they? How much do they help with corrosion? (I live on the coast) Are they as easy to apply as it seems or are there complications? last what ones do you recommend?
