I am wondering if anyone has had a stock bent on their shotgun . Saw a used ugartechea side by side that I really like but it has cast off for a right handed shooter and I shoot shotgun lefthanded . Am trying to find out if it could be straightened reasonably to a neutral cast at the least .

Hi Bearandoldman ,
Thanks for the links , I dont know why grouse hunters like side by sides . Personally my brother gave me mine , 20 years ago and so thats what I got used to . Its kinda a curse because they cost more , even than over unders . I like those also , I like the Berettas , they have good balance . I like doubles for hunting because if I have to cross a creek or fence you just break em open and pull the shells then put em back in , its easy and fast . The barrels side by side is definetly a different site picture .

Wow, another neat old thread. :D

Try the Double Gun Forum at this link. http://doublegunshop.com/forums/ubbthreads.php Lot's of very knowledgable fellows there that can explain stock bending. Joe
