Scoped rifle techniques

Could anyone post a link on the techniques of shooting scoped rifles/rifles in general or shed some light on the below questions?
Some questions I have are:
should I focus on the target or the crosshairs?
How hard should I grip the rifle with my trigger hand and how hard with the off-hand?
What portion of the rifle stock should I put my off-hand on?
What portion of the trigger finger should I use to apply pressure (is it the same as it is with pistols?)?
That's about all I can think of. Thanks!
