Ok, I'm old, rusty, and can't see the sights..

Any input on the targets would be appreciated.

Iron sights, CCI SV, and +1 diopter reading glasses to see the sights at 50 feet...

One-handed or two-handed? The low shots, centered, on the target look like someone may have been peeking down range at the target a little bit. Other than that I see several grouped nicely in the center. Perhaps some more practice on stance and trigger control and they'll swarm more toward the center.

Thanks, BE. One grip, one handed (left ), upright on two feet.

the one on the left is slow fire...I think I struggle too much finding the 'perfect' picture there. have to learn to put the gun down when things start to glaze over....

Of course, it could just be the gun , or the ammunition..

My aging eyes has problems seeing sights so I went to a reflex Dot scope. Helped me a bunch.

One Grip, One left hand, most went straight or to the right a tad. Up right on 2 feet, got me there only have 1 good foot.

It was the right handed gun you shot left handed.

There is a reason shotguns were invented. For those who can not see the sights

Nahhh, it has those nice left handed Herrett National grips...

Shotguns? Yeah, it's called a Perazzi MX-15... just waiting for trap season to start again... found shooting ATA registered during the winter does nothing for your average!!!!

Left and one-handed, that puts those shots over at 3:30 to 4:30 in the jerk zone. Take a little more care to slowly increase the pressure on the trigger until the hammer drops in the sustained fire strings. I use initial pressure then slowly take up the rest until the pistol fires. Initial pressure takes up about 75% of the trigger pull and then I add the rest in one slow smooth motion.

Well now. Leo is Leo Harrison III, arguably the greatest trapshooter of our time. Mason Michigan is the Home of the Michigan Trapshooting Association and it's big event is the Great Lakes Grand American. A satellite event of the ATA Grand American. Back a few years ago, we could go to Camp Perry for Nationals, then travel down the pike to Vandalia, ohio for the Grand. Alas, it's since moved to Sparta, Illinois. Right smack dab in the middle of the largest damn reclaimed coal mine you ever saw!!

Sometimes, (seldom) I get lucky and he shoots badly (even more seldom).

Trapshooting is my first love, but, Bullseye and smallbore rifle competition is where I started 40 some years ago.

An old man can still compete in trap, it's a bit tougher in precision pistol and rifle though...

Ahh never bee big into the trapshooters, now I know... I know Mason, my sister lives by lake lansing so thats not too far away

It has 44 fields. Can you imagine if it had a berm at 50 yards? It would be like Perry.

Thats a good size range.
