Ditched occluder, scores going up

Post by melchloboo » Wed Jun 04, 2008 4:39 pm

I was watching a world class 10m airpistol match on youtube and some of the good shooters used no glasses.

When I started shooting I needed an occluder, and have been using it every day for months. So I started shooting without it and lo and behold I can now see the front sight clearer than ever with both eyes open. Perhaps the occluder somehow trained my brain over time to ignore the weak eye. My scores have improved as well. I feel less cluttered on the line as well, and better balanced.
