Thanks for all of your replies to this subject, it is a subject that is hard to
advise on. As I mentioned, the load seemed like it was a "pet load" it shot
so well. Altough, I think I'll keep it up to 7.7gr like I intended. Revolvers are
a cool style of firearm, with much history, and who can argue with this guy:

I don't think that fast and I'm not sure my eyes blink that fast.

I like the 617's I've seen but all I could afford was this older blue version

Cool looking, is that a 10" barrel on a 617 ?

8 3/8 barrel and it is an Mod 17.
