I've heard tell of guys using the portable cement mixer below to make a giant wet, stainless media brass tumbler...... Seems like a fairly good idea if you shoot a lot..... Anybody here ever done this, or know someone who's done it? Kinda afraid to pull the trigger on one.....

Wouldn't one of these smaller rock tumblers from HF be a better bet?

Several of the reviews claim they work great for brass tumbling.

Yeah, maybe..... there's a youtube video of a guy using the double drum Harbor Freight tumbler...... I was just wondering if the mixer would be easier to use, and capable of much greater capacity..... Seems like you could throw in every piece of brass you owned.....

I read on several forums where guys are processing 1000's of brass for resale using them. Takes a lot of SS pins then you have to have a big strainer to catch the pins and separate the brass. If your doing large quantity 10k/day it would be worth the effort. There are some larger drum models that can handle 1k 45's at a time on the market now.
