happy birthday to my carbine!

Post by bgreenea3 » Tue Oct 22, 2013 7:09 pm

My m1 carbine turned 69 years old this month. We celebrated by making some noise.

Once I got settled in with the trigger the bull was not safe at 50 yards..... Then tool some pokes at the 200 meter plate (24"x24"). More hits than misses!

Gun still looks in very good shape. In most cases all of our guns will out last us.

Always a good time at the range.

little Greener, was it an SSG, that plant was about 3 block from my house, now it is gone and just an empty field. During WWII it was commonly known as the Gun Plant, and it was an old building when the war started.

General motor Inland division, barrel was made in saginaw. So it was probably made in that factory.
