Detail Cleaning of a Ruger P89

Post by blue68f100 » Mon Aug 24, 2009 5:04 pm

My brother has a P89 (DA/SA) that has never been detail cleaned and he asked me to clean it. Does any one have a link to a manual that walks you through the detail cleaning?

I know how to field strip it but that doesn't get you into trigger group for cleaning.

I was able to take the gun apart and get it cleaned up. It was dry and dirty. It's now smooth, and back in good working order.

It actually breaks down pretty easy once I looked at it.
