4? A goodly number.

HA!

Actually, the only revolver on my "want" list is a top-break NAA mini, I'm waiting for them to actually get distributed and then one shall be mine, possibly replacing the current one, maybe just keeping it company.

I have 5 semi's and 2 revolvers (both S&W-686 SSR and Model 28.) Prefer the revolvers. More accurate, more flexible (38-357, strong/weak loads), don't have to bend over to pick up brass (really important), and what's really cool, is how every one looks at you when you send a full power 357 loads downrange. Sounds like a man's gun.

I think my next will be a Ruger Blackhawk. Why? Maybe because I don't have one. Actually, I have no idea why. Just think I want one.

I do like auto's (and carry them), love my 1911, just like revolvers a bit more.

"Now that's what I'm talking about" !!! 8)
It is sort of funny, this past summer I was shooting some powder puff 38sp's
with my S&W 686-6-6" 357 and the guys were making fun of the issue by saying:
"Haka, your gun sounds like a little ole cap gun, ha ha ha ha ha". It just so
happened I had some MAGNUMS in my gun bag, which I prudently inserted into
the cylinder. After they turned their backs and started to walk away, snickering,
I let loose with a couple rounds that made them jump out of their skin. Their
laughing was replaced by the action of them checking theirs shorts
for "unwanted contraband". This quickly humbled them to the point to where
they "praised" my revolver for it's "manliness". The laughing was now mine.
This is the versatility of a revolver, the range of power that the 357 can provide:
"powder puff to "MAGNUM MANHOOD".

Shot and carried revolvers most of my life, and old habits are hard to break.

Baldy, I can understand being partial to wheel guns. I sorta like 4" DA revolvers, but can't decide if the GP100 is better than the Blackhawk .45 colt.

Haka, I've done the pitty-pat .38's followed by a few .357's a number of times. Fun to watch the really tough guys change their smiles when you light off a loud one after shooting the pitty-pats. Since I've gone back to mostly one-hand shooting and the guys have seen me do it with .357's and the .45 colt, I don't get much in the way of sniggering.

I used to own Blackhawks in .41 and .44--both very nice guns. I hear the .41 ammo is scarce and expensive. That's probably why I'm seeing so many .41s for sale at gun shows, etc.
