Sounds like a beauty OM, maybe a collector's piece. I bet she's very photogenic .

Will take a couple the next time it is out of the drawer and ready for use, Got some light loads I use in my 1894 and it shoots like a .22.

I shot my Vaquero for the first time today and really enjoyed it. It is somewhat
like I expected, solid and accurate. I seem to always be the "weak link" in the accuracy of my hg's.
Things I like about it:
Ruger quality
Classy looking
Accurate
Ejector rod button tab (This tab makes it sooo easy to eject brass, doesn't make a sore thumb or finger)
Nice larger grips
Notched rear sight is interesting
I really enjoy revolvers, the seem to have a nostalgic appeal to me.

I love my revolvers. I think shooting a revolver double action has helped all my shooting because of the long trigger.

One of the best things is you don't have to do an Easter-egg hunt for the cases. Right on the bench in front of you. Worst thing about a revolver is cleaning.

That's a nice looking gun OM, looks like you baby it, she's spotless. That's the new model Blackhawk. Ruger sure makes solid revolvers.

Blackhawks are great looking guns. I just wish Ruger hadn't gone to the black rubber grips.

Sure would look better with walnut or stag just like Matt Dillon.

Didn't the original saa have hard rubber grips?
