You can't do better than a Ruger. Toughest revolvers on the market.

Yep, I agree a....good choice and a very nice lookin' gun.

Every once in a while I get the "itch" for a high capacity 9mm. I've had this "itch" off and on for several years and it always seems to vanish before I get a chance to scratch it. I have my S&W Model 36 and two .357 mag Rugers. "9mm?...I don't need no stinkin' 9mm."

Dogoneit, now I have gun envy. That is a good looking piece. How about a target?

It will be a time before I actually have my hands on it. My son lives in WA and I live in OR. Next visit......I don't want the shipping fees, ffl fees and BC fees added to it. Funds are limited. I must be patient. I've ordered the CTC LG303 laser grips for it.

I carried a SP-101 21/4" Barrel for about a year. I had a set of C/T Laser grips on it and it was the cats meow. You have to learn how to use them laser grips to your advanage. I set mine at zero to the iron sight at 25ft. I still got the C/T's but the SP left in a hot deal at a gun show for the wife could get a Colt she wanted.

Got it! And I am very pleased. I fitted it with the CTC, LG 303 and while sighting in, I was able to put all five rounds in the same hole with the laser and my bipod rest. Since it is to be used as a defense weapon, I was shooting at 21' only. I think I'll increase that distance and re-sight it in at maybe 30' or 40'. It fits my small hands and is comfortable to carry in the Uncle Mikes 3 slot belt slide holster.

I just ordered a Remora Holster for the Ruger......I like the Remora with my S&W 36 so well, I thought I'd try it with the Ruger.
