Finally took their advice and bought one, a nice shooter, very slightly used at my local shop. Image

Goes great with an Uncle Mike's pocket holster.

Looks pretty good.

Shoots nice too, range was closed for a special function but got to shoot 2 cylinders of my hanloads. At 7 yards will group them well from a low ready, shoots slightly to the left by a couple of inches, most likely an operator problem.

I'd always blame the gun.

Sounds like you need a little more practice getting acclimated to the trigger. Still, it sounds like it is putting them close enough for government work.

You are right Rob, I just need some more trigger time, not much of a revolver shooter but the trigger feels good. Only got to shoot 10 rounds of my reloads through it, they are a little smoky in that short barrel vitro Green Dot powder. A lot of it is still burning when the bullet leaves the barrel. Been having too much fun with my rifles lately. Finally got the T 10/22 under 1/8 centers for ten shots at 25 yards. premium ammo does help.

I like the new style grips and red sight insert on yours.... mine doesn't have the lock and the finish isn't quite as good anymore....(I've carried mine as a BUG for the last 8 years or so and it has plenty of holster wear)

the trigger will smooth out a lot after a a bit of live/dry firing

The red insert in Hthefront sight is something they do at my local shop. The lock I will most likely never use, have a few guns with them and have never used it. Shot it a couple more cylinders fulll after shooting the rifles today. I have a tenfdency to push the gun a few inches left of center when I pull the trigger but that will straighten out eventually. Some shots will hit center but most are a little left but elevation is good.

So your minute of paper plate (BG) is a bit left. Getting used to a light small gun takes a few rounds.

BG is down from hits off center, do I lose points. Have not really shot it too much, usually a couple cylinders full after rifle playing. Old guys tire easily, recoil is mild with my handloads, my centering was a little better yesterday. The gun will definitely get the job done and a nice easy light carry. Do need to get a speed loader for and extra 5. although with the Miro and six I did not carry a mag with me, just a couple in the console in the car. In reality by the time the gun is empty the fight will be over, one way or the other.

Lot of folks carry strips. I have a speed loader. At 10-20 feet, the time to reload is pretty short.

An extra mag or a strip or speedloader is just to reload the gun after the figh is over, as long as you are the survivor.

Yea, but I feel better carrying the extra 5.
