Finally took their advice and bought one, a nice shooter, very slightly used at my local shop.

Shoots nice too, range was closed for a special function but got to shoot 2 cylinders of my hanloads. At 7 yards will group them well from a low ready, shoots slightly to the left by a couple of inches, most likely an operator problem.greener wrote:Goes great with an Uncle Mike's pocket holster.
Looks pretty good.
I'd always blame the gun.bearandoldman wrote:Shoots nice too, range was closed for a special function but got to shoot 2 cylinders of my hanloads. I like the new style grips and red sight insert on yours.... mine doesn't have the lock and the finish isn't quite as good anymore....(I've carried mine as a BUG for the last 8 years or so and it has plenty of holster wear)bearandoldman wrote:Finally took their advice and bought one, a nice shooter, very slightly used at my local shop.
BG is down from hits off center, do I lose points. Have not really shot it too much, usually a couple cylinders full after rifle playing. Old guys tire easily, recoil is mild with my handloads, my centering was a little better yesterday. The gun will definitely get the job done and a nice easy light carry. Do need to get a speed loader for and extra 5. although with the Miro and six I did not carry a mag with me, just a couple in the console in the car. In reality by the time the gun is empty the fight will be over, one way or the other.greener wrote:So your minute of paper plate (BG) is a bit left. Getting used to a light small gun takes a few rounds.
An extra mag or a strip or speedloader is just to reload the gun after the figh is over, as long as you are the survivor.greener wrote:Lot of folks carry strips. I have a speed loader. At 10-20 feet, the time to reload is pretty short.
