Being a shaky 75 year old I installed a stabilizer on my Mk.3. It is 14" long and has 5 ounces of lead on the end. It attaches to the rear of the grip and does not touch the arm or body. The captain of our team thinks it is legal and my research has not found a rule against it. I am asking if anyone knows if it is legal or not. BTW it brought me up 36 points.

Are you shooting in an NRA sanctioned league? If so, then you may want to contact the rules committee for clarification on the legality of your stabilizer. If you are shooting in a local bullseye league then whoever is in charge of the competition can give you a ruling. If your stabilizer is disallowed, then some light weight strength training can smooth out the jitters and muscle trembling. Some arm exercises with 3-5 lb weights can firm up your hold.
