Lanyard stud

Post by cool_husker » Fri Feb 15, 2008 4:01 am

Any ideas on installing a lanyard stud on a S&W 500 and on a Colt trooper. I live in alaska in grizzley country and thought this might be a good idea.

The 500 has a slotted screw in the bottom of the grip. S&W makes a lanyard stud that fits into that hole. They have them on the 500 emergency survival kit models (with the orange Hogue grips.)

You simply unscrew the grip screw and replace it with the threaded stud. This 460 has a blued lanyard stud attached.

They have stainless studs too.

Thanks! I will check their web site to see if they sell them.
