Can I
leave my Pmags
loaded full of 223 ammo for
an extended period of time without ruining the springs?

Modern springs don't fail from prolonged tension like the older ones did. You should be fine.

thanks b.e., upon further research, I have also heard that the actual back and forth motion of the springs(normal usage) is what actually wears them out most.

You should install the clip cover if you plan on leaving them loaded as it helps back the bullets off the lips of the mag's reducing the spring pressure on them.
