6 dasher loads

Post by stork » Thu Sep 08, 2005 11:25 am

Anyone shooting a 6 Dasher with .274 neck?

I had one made about 2 months ago but due to 2 kids getting married, didn't have the time to start on the project. It's now bedded and the first 100 rds fireformed. I plan on using 87 Hornady V-maxs and RE15 with Rem 7 1/2 primers in Lapua cases.

I've been on the 6br website but the guys there are either shooting 55 grainers as fast as they can push them or 106-107 gr heavies at 1000 yds. This is a varmint rig for up to 800+ yds. As yet I have no interest in 1000 yd shooting.
