I have a MKII 10" target. The bolt doesn't lock back after the last shot. I end up dry firing on an empty chamber and ding the back of the barrel.

Typically the bolt stop has rounded over if it won't hold the bolt open. This can happen very quickly if one releases the bolt via the lever instead of using the sling shot method. You can square it up again with a few strokes of a file. But if you've got damage to the chamber mouth then you have another problem. Take out the firing pin stop and inspect it. It sounds like it is damaged and allowing the firing pin to reach the chamber mouth. The stop pin is either dented or broken. You can repair the chamber mouth with a chamber iron. It will press out the dent and reshape your chamber wall.
