Hung hammer strut problem solved

Bullseye,

Being you have been gone for a few days I thought I'd give you something to get you back into 'smithing.
As many times as I've had one of these things apart I still get caught up in the old "hung hammer strut" when putting it back together. I thought I had the problem solved by filing a flat on the pin and that almost did the trick but I found the strut would still get hung if I was not careful.
So, I tapped the sear spring pin hole on the left side with a 4-40 tap, ground the head of a 4-40 screw down to almost flush with the frame and shortened the screw to where it just captures the bottom leg of the sear spring. I don't see any way the bottom leg can get off that screw so it should stay in place.I also had to Dremmel out a place in the VQ grips for the screw head but it didn't take much.
Again, not something most guys would want to do but my tinkering urge caught up with me today and there was nothing else left that I could do with this pistol.(bout time for another one)
