Just when I thought I was being pretty original with that response when someone, like SWMBO, asked how many guns I needed, out of the blue yesterday, someone else said it. And best of all, he said it in the presence of SWMBO.

Just a note. Reminding SWMBO of the moral superiority of the argument with "See, I told you" is best resolved by asking which restaurant she wants to go to for dinner and immediately proceeding to that place.

Know different than them collecting shoes, jewelry, etc .......

But the exception is good quality guns don't loose there value. Then if you have a few rare ones they increase in value nicely.

You are indeed skilled in the art of marital politics and negotiation. I have a friend who puts it like this:

My wife and I are practiced in compromising which has kept us together all these years. When we discussed getting a pet she wanted a cat and I wanted a dog. So, we decided to compromise and now we have a cat.
